Homeschoolers’ Day Out (HDO) is a ministry that was started by moms in 1999 to support homeschooling families of the church. The dynamics of the co-op have changed over the years but the mission has stayed the same:

  • Students will have a picture of a community of grace, though imperfect, coming together to glorify God through serving one another with the gifts that God has given them.
  • Students will have another dimension added to their educational experience.
  • Students will strengthen relationships among each other in a supervised atmosphere.
  • Parents will form bonds as they work in community with one another.
HDO currently offers parent-led classes once a week for 10 weeks in the fall and 10 weeks in the spring with community building activities throughout the year. We meet on Wednesdays from 9-12 and fellowship over lunch after classes.
